Only when we know what sections of our website are visited most frequently and for the longest time, we can optimize the website content in line with your requirements. We only store other personal data if you provide us with them, for example, for the purposes of registration; a contact form; a survey; a competition; a request for publication; a newsletter subscription; the execution of a contract; attracting, surveying and notifying potential customer. In such cases, this is done insofar as permissible on the basis of consent you have granted us and in line with the relevant statutory regulations. The data are entered into a form, encrypted and sent to us. We then store the data in line with the valid legislation and this Privacy Policy.

As part of the submission, you will be required to consent with the personal data processing and you will be referred to this Privacy Policy. You can also contact us via the above email address. In this case, we will store user´s personal data sent by email.

Legal grounds for the personal data processing

If we request for your consent for the processing of your personal data, Article 6 (1) point (a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) serves as legal grounds.

Article 6 (1) point (b) of the GDPR serves as legal grounds for the processing of personal data where such processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party. This also applies to data processing that is necessary prior entering into a contract.

Article 6 (1) point (c) of the GDPR serves as legal grounds for the personal data processing where processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation required of our company.

Additionally, we process personal data for the purposes of our legitimate interests and legitimate interests of third parties in accordance with the Article 6 (1) point (f) of the GDPR. Such legitimate interests include preserving the functionality of our IT systems, marketing our own and third party products and services and the legally necessary documentation of business contacts.

If we process your personal data in order to establish pre-contractual relationships, Article 6 (1) point (b) of the GDPR serves as legal grounds. In terms of that, your consent is not required for your personal data processing.

The provision of your personal data is a requirement necessary for the contract conclusion. The controller is unable to enter into pre-contractual relationship with you without having your personal data.

However, if the documents sent by you also contain special categories of personal data and the controller will be interested in processing them, the controller shall process them for the stated purpose only on the basis of your explicit, unqualified, voluntary consent to their processing, with the Article 6 (1) point (a) of the GDPR forming the legal grounds for these data processing, unless an exception under Article 9 (2) point (b) of the GDPR.

Provision of your personal data for which we request your consent is not a legal or contractual requirement and you are not obliged to provide us with these personal data. You are also entitled to withdraw your consent at any time.

Purposes of processing:

  • Temporary storage of an IP address by the system is necessary for the purpose of transmitting the website to the user´s computer. For this purpose, the IP address of the user must remain stored for the duration of the session. The IP address is required to diagnose problems, manage website and for demographic information.
  • The logged data are used exclusively for the purposes of data security, especially for statistical evaluation and to prevent attempts at hacking our server.
  • If you provide us with other personal data, for example, for the purposes of registration; a contact form; a survey; a competition; a request for a publication; a newsletter subscription; the execution of a contract; or attracting, surveying and notifying potential customers, we will use the data for the purposes of customer management and, if necessary, processing and settling any transactions to the extent required in each case.
  • If the data subject contacts a company of the msg life Group with a request for information (for example, a request for information to be sent through our website), the processing of data is permissible for us to comply with the request. Erasure of data and storage period

Your personal data are erased or blocked as soon as the purpose for which they were stored has been achieved. Data can be stored beyond this point only if it is permitted by European or national legislation in the European regulations, laws or other regulations the controller is subject to. Data will be erased or blocked after the expiry of these statutory storage periods, except where the continued data storage is necessary for the purposes of concluding or executing a contract.

If data are stored in log files, they will be deleted in seven (7) days at the latest. Data can be stored for longer periods. In this case, IP addresses of the user will be removed or anonymized to prevent them from being associated with visiting clients.

We will destroy your personal data in line with valid legislation no later than 3 months after the end of selection procedure you participated in. Should we wish to further process your personal data for purposes of other selection procedures on jobs within our company, we would request your explicit informed consent in advance.

Right to withdraw consent, object and erasure of personal data

Collection of data for the purposes of making the website accessible and storage of data in log files are necessary for the website operation. The user is therefore not entitled to object.

However, the user is entitled to withdraw his/her consent to personal data processing at any time. If the user contacts us via email, the user is entitled to object to storage of their personal data at any time. IV. Rights of the data subject

When processing your personal data, you are considered a data subject under the GDPR and you have the following rights in relation to the controller:

Right to information

You are entitled to request, free of charge, information about the scope, origin and recipients of the data stored and the purpose for which they were stored.

  • If the personal data have been transmitted to the third parties, the information on the identity or recipient category must be also provided.
  • The data subject is entitled to object to the processing of their personal data for marketing purposes, market research and opinion polling purposes. Data intended for these purposes must be erased.

Right to rectification

You are entitled to have the controller correct and/or complete your personal data if they are incorrect or incomplete. The controller is obliged to correct the data without delay.

Right to erasure of personal data

You are entitled to request the controller to erase your personal data and the controller is obliged to do so without delay if one of the following grounds applies:

  • Personal data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed.
  • You withdraw your consent to the personal data processing pursuant to the Article 6 (1) point (a) of the GDPR or the Article 9 (2) point (a) of the GDPR and there is no other legal ground for the data processing.
  • You object to the processing pursuant to the Article 21 (1) of the GDPR and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for the processing, or you object to the data processing pursuant to the Article 21 (2) of the GDPR.
  • Your personal data have been processed unlawfully.

You are entitled to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or place of alleged infringement if you consider that the personal data processing related to you does not comply with the GDPR. The supervisory authority to which the complaint has been lodge shall inform the complainant on the progress and the outcome of the complaint including the possibility of a judicial remedy pursuant to the Article 78 of the GDPR.

VIII. Online appearance in social media

We operate publicly available profiles in social media to get in touch with active users, interested parties and customers and to inform them about our services.

Data of social media users like Facebook or Google+ may be processed in third countries – for example in the USA. Therefore, the enforcement of the user’s rights can be more difficult. We are notifying the US providers certified under the Privacy Shield that they are required to comply with the European privacy standards.

If you are logged onto your social media account and visit our social media profile, the social media provider can assign this visit to your user account. Your personal data can possibly also be collected if you are not logged onto or do not have an account with the respective social media. This data collection is due to cookies saved on your device or to the record of your IP address.

With the collected data, the social media providers can create user profiles in which their preferences and interests are saved. Normally, the data is saved for market research and advertisement. In this way, personalized advertisement can be shown to you within and outside the respective social media presence.

If you have an account with the respective social media, the interest-related advertisement may be shown on all devices and platforms where you are or were logged onto.

It is considered a legitimate interest as defined by the Article 6 (1) point (f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The analysis initiated by social media may be based on a different legal ground that is to be indicated by the social media provider (for example, agreement based on the Article 6 (1) point (a), the Article 7 of the GDPR).

Provider and the rights enforcement

When you visit one of our social media profiles (for example, Facebook), we both, we and the social media provider, are responsible for the data processes that has been produced. You can insist on your rights (disclosure, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, objection and complaint) to us and the provider of the respective social media (for example, Facebook).

Despite having a common responsibility with the social media providers, please note that we do not have the fully extensive influence for the data processing of the social media. Our options are limited by the company policy of the respective provider.”

Duration of storage

Data directly collected by us through social media presence will be deleted from our systems as soon as the purpose of the storage is invalid, you ask for deletion, you withdraw your consent to their storage or the purpose of data storage becomes invalid. YouTube

YouTube videos are embedded into our website. Provider of the relevant plugins is YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. At first, our website just shows a thumbnail without establishing a connection to YouTube. When clicking on the thumbnail, a connection to YouTube will be established and your IP address will be transferred to the YouTube servers. YouTube will be informed that our website has been visited with your IP address. We do not receive information about this data and its use.

By integrating external videos, we relieve our servers and can use corresponding resources elsewhere in order to increase the stability of our servers. X. Where are my data processed?

Your data are processed in Slovakia and in Germany. Data are also processed in other European and third countries in the extend permitted by the law.

XI. How secure are my data?

msg life has adopted extensive technical and operational security measures in line with the European legislation in order to protect your data from being hacked or misused.

XII. Recipients and personal data transfer

The transfer of personal data to recipients outside of the msg life Group is subject to admissibility criteria concerning the processing of personal data.

The data recipient (processor) is contractually obliged to process the data, to only use the data for the stated purposes and to process the data in line with the instructions of the msg life Group.

If you send your personal data to msg life Slovakia s.r.o. in an online application, they will be transmitted to the recipient – msg life ag which processes personal data centrally on its internal servers for the entire msg life Group companies.

If personal data are transferred by a company based in the EEA to a company based outside of the EEA (a third country), the receiving company is obliged to cooperate with all queries made by the supervisory authority responsible for the sending company and heed the conclusions of the supervisory authority with regard to the transmitted data. The same applies analogously to data transfers by companies from other countries. If the companies are participating in an international certification system for binding data protection regulations, they must ensure that they cooperate with the certification bodies in accordance with the rules of the system.

In cases of cross-border data processing, each set of national requirements concerning the disclosure of personal data abroad must be met. In particular, personal data are only transferred from the EU and EEA to a third country if the specific requirements of the GDPR concerning data transfers to third countries are met and the processing of the personal data is lawful. Examples of suitable instruments are as follows:

Agreement of standard European contractual clauses for data processing in third countries with the contractor and any subcontractors.

Participation of the provider in a certification system recognized by the European Union and designed to establish an adequate level of data protection.

Acknowledgement of binding corporate rules of the contractor to establish an adequate level of data protection by the supervisory authorities responsible for data protection.
